“Did you see the eclipse?”

I did not.

“Did you miss the whole thing?”

I did not.

You go out for the day and bring your friends,

Set up your drinks and camping chairs.

All for a moment when your heart can see,

How you’re connected to the world, 3D.

I greet the great Sun every day.

I ask the Moon whether she’s sad or gay.

Flowers show me the track of the sun;

If it’s gonna’ rain or it’s simply gray.

The eclipse is cool, no doubt in that.

But, look, there’s magic in everyday.

Live all the moments with this Earth,

Not just the ones that people say.
